Delhi: In the background of the impending Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party unveiled a comical reel on their Instagram page on March 26. The reel takes a jibe at the opposing I.N.D.I.A bloc by showcasing them as eligible bachelors seated together, vying for the hand of the bride in marriage.

The character, believed to be Congress MP, Rahul Gandhi, can be seen introducing the various members of his ‘family’ to the bride. The scene escalates with confusion over ‘Dulha kaun hai?’ (Who is the groom?), drawing parallels between the opposition vying for seats in the election, as each ‘family member’ starts talking about the benefits of them being the ‘dulha.’

The reel has amassed more than 1.3 million views and has a hoard of comments supporting the ‘creative approach’ and the ’satirical context’ of the video.

One user demanded an Oscar for the reel while a few others demanded the reel to be in different languages.

A few users called it ‘attention seeking’ and urged the party to focus on important issues while a few users sought a comeback reel from the opposition.
