In an internal memo, Bennett, Coleman & Co. (BCCL) has announced key leadership changes. Sivakumar Sundaram, the current Chairman of BCCL's Executive Committee, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (Publishing) and Executive Director.
Effective from June 15, 2023, Sundaram has assumed his new responsibilities. With over 30 years of experience at BCCL, he has held numerous leadership positions and demonstrated proficiency in diverse functions and business areas.
Mohit Jain, currently serving as the Executive Director of Supply Chain and RMD, will assume the role of COO (Publishing) and Executive Director.
Meanwhile, Subramanian Narayanan, who currently serves as the Executive Director and Group CFO at Entertainment Network India (ENIL), has been appointed as the CEO (Media and Investments).
Upon obtaining the required regulatory approvals, he will also assume the position of Executive Director at BCCL starting from July 1, 2023.
