Amul issues statement after 'fake' election ad goes viral

Delhi: Recently, a user in X posted a copy of Amul promoting voters to be involved in the election.

The tweet went viral and garnered a lot of responses. However, the brand addressed the viral tweet and debunked it as 'fake.' 

Amul issued a notice on X and wrote, “We wish to inform you that a fake message featuring the Amul Girl is being shared on WhatsApp and social media. This advertisement has not been created by Amul."

Amul would be taking legal action as “PK Anil," the creator of the fake ad.
