Havas India issues public notice against job scamsters

Havas India has released a public notice on LinkedIn to draw people’s attention to the deceptive activities happening in recent times in the name of the network agency. Several individuals have been approached under the guise of a job offer from the network agency in lieu of money.

As per the agency, there have been a slew of instances wherein job scamsters, falsely posing as Havas’ HR representatives, have gone to the extent of extending job offers to individuals on email, social media platforms, and WhatsApp to deceive individuals into making monetary transactions in exchange for job positions.

With this, Havas India has joined a series of network agencies in India that have fallen prey to similar scams in the past including Publicis Groupe India, FCB Group India and Omnicom Media Group amongst others.
