Perfetti Van Melle moves Shankar Iyer to Nigeria in Marketing Director role

Perfetti Van Melle has promoted Shankar Iyer to Marketing Director role for Nigeria market.

In his new role in Nigeria, he will be responsible for Perfetti Van Melle's marketing strategy, P&L, portfolio management, NPDs and brand communication.

Iyer has been associated with Perfetti Van Melle for over 16 years. Before this, he was Associate Director, Marketing since October 2019.

He joined the FMCG major as Management Trainee in 2007 and worked across roles like Sales Manager, South Kerala, Product Manager, Mentos and Smint in the UK market and Group Product Manager among many other roles.
