After nine months as Chief Executive Officer of India TV, Paritosh Joshi has called it quits. Highly placed sources in the industry confirmed the development and said that Joshi would be with the company till the end of this month. However, BestMediaInfo.com could not independently verify the news either with Joshi or the company.

Joshi, who was associated with India TV as strategist from September 2012, was brought on board as CEO in November 2015. Besides working as strategist for India TV for three years, Joshi was also working on a number of industry initiatives including BARC and MRUC after quitting as CEO of Star CJ Network in April 2012.

Joshi had joined Star India in 2005 as revenue management head and was reporting directly to Samir Nair, then president of advertising, sales and distribution, Star India.

With three decades of experience in sales, marketing and general management, Joshi has worked with companies like ITC, Procter & Gamble, Business Standard, Maharaja and Quest. He is an alumnus of IIM, Ahmedabad.
