With a new team at the helm, Sony Entertainment Television has set the ball rolling with host of fresh shows. After having launched the futuristic comedy, '2025: Jaane Kya Hoga Agey', Sony is now gearing up to launch a new fiction from Balaji Telefilms, 'Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do'. The show will premiere on October 12, 2015 and is likely to air Monday to Friday at 9.00 pm.

Sources close to the network have confirmed that the Balaji show was launching in the second week of October and in all likelihood would replace the fiction show, 'Reporters'. A production official, requesting anonymity, confirmed that 'Reporters' would come to a close. An actor from 'Reporters' also said that shooting for the show had ended.

Meanwhile, a source close to the development said, “It would be wrong to say that 'Reporters' is going off air. Instead, it is coming to a close as per schedule. We had signed a six-month contract for 130 episodes. Currently, we've aired 116 episodes. The channel hasn't considered extending the show.”

'Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do' stars Iqbal Khan and Mona Singh in the lead roles. Ishan (Iqbal Khan) and Preet (Mona Singh) part of the prosperous Hooda family based in Delhi. The family has several businesses across industries. But, the cornerstone of their business is their arms business with the Indian government. Mr and Mrs Hooda have three children - Trisha, Niti and Sid. Ishan is the nephew of Mr Hooda and is married to Preet. Both Ishan and Preet keep the entire family together.

Meanwhile, Sony is also readying for its non-fiction show, 'Power Couple', based on an Israeli format reality show.
