The Kyoorius Creative Awards is back with its fourth edition. The awards opened for entries from March 16. Entries will close on April 19 while April 26 will be the last day for physical submission of the entries.
With outstanding creativity and innovation being the deciding criteria, these awards are open for entries across 17 main categories and 156 sub-categories.
The Kyoorius Creative Awards recognise the most striking creative communications across individual as well as collective campaigns. The award welcomes participation from advertising agencies, digital agencies, production houses, media houses, event management companies, freelancers, photographers, mobile agencies, brands, corporates, NGOs or individuals.
In the 2016 Kyoorius Creative Awards, a total of 69 Elephants were awarded. Of these, 10 entries went on to win Lions at Cannes and 11 entries found their way into the shortlist.
Like every year, the jury will comprise a diverse panel of local as well as international industry stalwarts. Taking forward the innovative step from 2014, even this year, Kyoorius will have an ‘Open Jury’ where people from the industry and media can attend the jury sessions to learn and benefit from the discussions and the entries displayed.
Rajesh Kejriwal, Founder and CEO, Kyoorius, said, “Over the last five years, the advertising and media industry as we know it, has seen dramatic and evolutionary transformations. The advent and growth of digital together with technology has led to changes in the way we think, act and communicate with the modern day consumer. In this sea of change, the concept and execution of creative communications, too, has evolved leaps and bounds. And it is this outstanding creative excellence and innovation Kyoorius aims to recognise and honour.”
Last year’s Kyoorius Creative Awards recognised and awarded star performers like the Ambuja Khali TVC, Beauty Tips by Reshma and Share the Load.
Whisper – Touch the Pickle, Café TC Liquor Ticker, Ola Boat, #UQuitIQuit and Ode to the Bug were among some other striking campaigns.
Some agencies that stole the limelight were Ogilvy & Mather, GroupM, DDB Mudra, OMD, AIB Vigyapanti, BBDO India, Flying Cursor Interactive, Earlyman Films, Dentsu Creative Impact, The Glitch and for brands like Vodafone, Cadbury, Truecaller, Uber and Rajasthan Tourism. All eyes are now set on the creative surprises being unveiled for 2017.
The award ceremony will be held on June 2, 2017 at the Dome, NSCI in Mumbai.
