PayPalPayPal has recently called a pitch in India to take care of the company's promotion on the digital platform. Among the participating agencies are MediaCom, Lodestar UM and OMD, it is learnt. Highly placed industry sources confirmed the news to BestMediaInfo. The account size is pegged at around Rs 3-4 crore.

This is for the second time that the online payments and transfer company has called a pitch. The company advertising mainly targets merchants and traders. The company wants to promote the brand among merchants in India and help them sell their products overseas.  PayPal purely advertises on the digital front.

PayPal works with iProspect in the Asia-Pacific region. The company works on project basis on the creative front in India. As of now, in India, the company only caters to the cross-border audience. Consumers can buy from overseas and a merchant can sell overseas.

PayPal is an American company operating a worldwide online payments system that supports online money transfers and serves as an electronic alternative to traditional paper methods like checks and money orders. It operates as a payment processor for online vendors, auction sites and other commercial users, for which it charges a fee.
