According to BARC India's  viewership numbers for Week 6 (February 4-10, 2017), Colors hooked on to its No. 1 position on the back of its three shows in top 5 - Naagin Season 2 (Urban, Rural and U+R), Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki (Urban and U+R) and Shani (Urban).

Another highlight of the week is the growth of Rishtey in the Rural and U+R markets. The Kapil Sharma Show has also climbed three positions up in the Urban markets, while Jodha Akbar from Zee Anmol has re-entered top five chart in the Rural market.

Top channels in U+R markets

Colors continued to lead at the No. 1 spot with 625.658 million Impressions while Star Plus stayed at No. 2 position with 609.140 million Impressions. Rishtey climbed to No. 3 with 437.837 million Impressions. Zee TV at No. 4 garnered 410.432 million Impressions followed by Star Utsav which garnered 405.037 million Impressions. At No. 6, Sony Entertainment Television stayed firm with 404.351 million Impressions. Zee Anmol was at No. 7 with 376.640 million Impressions. Life OK too held its No. 8 position with 373.056 million Impressions. Sony Pal stood at No. 9 with 367.942 million Impressions and Sony SAB at the trailing end with 332.092 million Impressions.

Top programmes in U+R markets

As per select data {HSM (Urban): NCCS All: Prime Time (1800 – 2330 hrs): 4+ Individuals}, Naagin Season 2 on Colors gained 12.465 million Impressions to return back on its leading position. Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya was at No. 2 in Week 6 that got 10.578 million Impressions. Naagin Season 2 on Rishtey garnered 9.107 million Impressions. Colors' Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki stood at No. 4 got 9.009 million Impressions. Sony TV's The Kapil Sharma Show garnered 8.904 million Impressions.

Top channels in Urban markets

Colors retained its leadership in the Hindi GEC flock in the urban markets with 427.478 million Impressions while Star Plus remained close No. 2 with 427.289 million Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television stayed put at No. 3 clocking a total of 282.368 million Impressions. Sony SAB grabbed the No. 4 position with 244.145 million Impressions. Life OK climbed to No. 5 with 240.402 million Impressions. Zee TV slipped to No. 6 spot with 239.893 million Impressions, followed by &TV with 131.591 million Impressions. Rishtey got on to No. 8 with 109.048 million Impressions. Sony Pal stood at No. 9 with 107.874 million Impressions. Star Utsav stood at No. 10 with 106.156 million Impressions.

As per select data {HSM (Urban): NCCS All: Prime Time (1800 – 2330 hrs): 4+ Individuals}, Colors' Naagin Season 2 led the top programmes list with 8.125 million Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television's The Kapil Sharma Show stands at No. 2 with 6.571 million Impressions. Colors' Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki stood at No. 3 with 6.320 million Impressions. Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya stood at No. 4 with 6.231 million Impressions. Color's Shani entered the top-5 list with 5.896 million Impressions.

Top channels in Rural markets

While Star Utsav topped the channels list last week, this week Rishtey has gained numbers to climb the top slot as it garnered 328.788 million Impressions. Star Utsav witnessed a drop in viewership as it garnered 298.881 million Impressions. Zee Anmol stands at No. 3 with 286.533 million Impressions. Sony Pal is at No. 4 with 260.068 million Impressions. Colors stood at No. 5 with 198.180 million Impressions. Star Plus stood at No. 6 with 181.851 million Impressions. At No. 7, Zee TV garnered 170.538 million Impressions. At No. 8, Life OK garnered 132.654 million Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television stood at No. 9 with 121.982 million Impressions and Big Magic trailed at No. 10 with 115.966 million Impressions.

Star Utsav's Saath Nibhaana Saathiya stood at No. 2 with 5.396 million Impressions. Zee Anmol's Jodha Akbar stands at No. 3 with 4.743 million Impressions while Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya followed with 4.347 million Impressions. Colors Naagin – Season 2 stood at No. 5 with 4.340 million Impressions.
