StarcomPublicis Media's Starcom has won the media duties of the automobile brand Fiat Chrysler. It has also bagged the media buying duties of the global confectionary and food giant, Mars.

As for Fiat, the agency will be handling the media account in the APAC and EMEA regions, reportedly including 30 markets.

Also, for Mars, Starcom will be handling the account in China, Southeast Asia, Germany and the UK. Starcom and Zenith -- the two Publicis agencies -- have won the global media buying rights, apart from New Zealand and Australia.

Fiat had called for the media pitch for all these regions in July. Maxus is currently handling the account. Mars had called for the media buying pitch in August. The food brand has retained its media planning agency as Mediacom, globally. The incumbent on the media buying account in India is also Mediacom.

The business of the food and confectionary company has four major divisions -- Chocolate (brands like Twix and Galaxy), Wrigley (brands like Extra and Orbit), Pet Care (brands like Royal Canine and Pedigree) and Food (brands like MasterFoods, Uncle Ben's and KanTong). The company has many other brands under each of these divisions.
