Bajaj Auto has awarded its upcoming luxury bike's creative mandate to Ogilvy & Mather, Mumbai. The automobile company had called in a creative pitch wherein the roaster agencies participated.

Bajaj Auto has multiple agencies on the panel for motorcycles, including Leo Burnett, Mullen Lintas, Lowe Lintas and Ogilvy & Mather. While Ogilvy declined to comment on the same, market sources close to the development confirmed the news to BestMediaInfo.com. The pitch was called in 20 days back.

While the company is still calculating on the media spend and account size, market sources suggest that it would be in the range of Rs 60-70 crore.

In the luxury bike segment, Bajaj Auto already has Avenger and Pulsar in its stable.

Leo Burnett handles the brand Bajaj V which has the metal from the aircraft carrier INS Virat. Mullen Lintas handles Avenger brand of Bajaj Motorcycles while O&M handled Pulsar's creative duties. The service segment bikes Bajaj Discover and Bajaj CT 100 have also awarded creative duties to these agencies.
