DY-Works-LogoDYWorks, one of India's largest brand consulting and strategic design firm, announced the opening of its first international office in Shanghai. The company will advise Indian companies on strategy and market entry into China and Chinese firms entering India.

DYWorks already has a client in Shanghai -- New Development Bank, formerly known as the BRICS Bank. It won a global pitch over six rounds and 16 agencies.

Alpana Parida, Managing Director, DYWorks, said, “The India- China corridor will see a $ 1billion investment this year alone. We have been working in China and the opportunities are overwhelming.”

Madhav Sharma, Head, Greater China and Chief Representative, CII China, said, “The services sector is a growing and focussed sector in China that provides good opportunities for Indian companies in China. As Indian companies start focussing on the Chinese domestic market and Chinese companies increasingly participate in the India growth story; branding both at the B2B and B2C levels would play a crucial role. In my opinion it will build trust and confidence in products and services in both countries. I am sure DYWorks will play an important role in bridging this gap between India and China through the presence both in Shanghai and Mumbai.”

DYWorks was recently part of an Indian delegation that addressed 150 businesses in Yangzhou, China on building brands in India and has been invited by the Consul General, Shanghai to participate in a similar event in Huzhou in November. Alpana is addressing the fifth China-India Cooperation Forum, which is to be held at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). This forum, which is jointly organised by the Consulate General of India and CEIBS, is sponsored by Tata Sons.
