Network18 makes senior appointments

Amit Tripathi is National Revenue Head for Government Sales and non-metro markets and Sandhya Dhar is VP, Focus Sales, for branded content

Network18 has been strengthening its revenue team over the past few months after Joy Chakraborthy took over as President, Revenue, for TV18 and CEO-Forbes India in May, 2016. Moving forward in this direction, it has appointed Amit Tripathi as National Revenue Head for Government Sales and non-metro markets and Sandhya Dhar as Vice-President, Focus Sales for branded content of the network.

Chakraborthy said, “I am pleased to welcome Sandhya and Amit to the Network18 family and I firmly believe that such talent will continue to strengthen the revenue proposition of our group and provide greater momentum to the sales function.”

Tripathi has over two decades of experience in sales, marketing and business development. Prior to joining Network18, he was the Chief Operating Officer and National Sales Head at Focus News. Before that he was the CEO at Cent Percent Media. Tripathi has also served as the National Sales Head of Zee News in the past.

Dhar has over 17 years of experience in sales. Before joining Network18, she was the Asst. Vice-President and Sector Head (BFSI and HealthCare) at ET Edge (Times Conferences Limited). She was associated with Bennett Coleman & Company for over a decade in different roles of brand building and sales.

Tripathi will report to Chakraborthy and Sandhya will report to the national head, focus sales, who reports to Chakraborthy.
