Emvies 2016: Mindshare bags Grand Emvie and Agency of the Year, HUL Client of the Year
Mindshare shines for second consecutive year with eight Gold, eighteen Silver and fifteen Bronze metals, followed by a tie between Lodestar UM and Maxus

In its 16th year, the Emvies night was indeed a celebration with drums and whistles echoing the awards night at St. Regis, Mumbai.
Last year, no agency was awarded a Grand Emvie, but this year, Grand Emvie was bagged by Mindshare for best integrated campaign – consumer products for the campaign Pepsi – when consumers became co-marketers.
The Agency of the Year was bagged by Mindshare, for the second consecutive year with a tally of 395 points, leading by a large margin over the second. Mindshare won eight Gold, eighteen Silver, and fifteen bronze metals. The second place was a tie between Lodestar and Maxus, both with 135 points. Lodestar bagged six Gold, three Silver and three Bronze, while Maxus won four Gold, five Silver and five Bronze.
Client of the Year was Hindustan Unilever (HUL) with a whopping 310 points winnning seven Gold, fifteen Silver and eleven Bronze. Other agencies which followed the tally were PepsiCo India, Procter & Gamble, Door Step School, Britannia Industries, Marico, Tata Motors, Kellogg's India, Salaam Bombay Foundation and Amazon Sellers Services.
PHD India's Ronnie Thomas was named 'Young Emvie of the Year,' bagging Gold for his campaigns for HUL's Rin, Pureit and Lifebuoy. PHD India's Rushina Vakharia bagged Silver for her campaigns for HUL's Lakme, Dove and Closeup. Mindshare's Nidhi Sabharwal bagged Bronze for her campaign for HUL's Lifebuoy - Killing Germs one wash at a Time. Lastly, PHD India's Priya Shetty won a Bronze for work for HUL's Active Wheel and Hindustan Unilever's Multi Brands.
In the Media Partner of the Year category, Star Network won the award for TV, Grazia in Print, Prakash Jha Production in Cinema, Big GM in Radio, Y-Films in Digital and Door Step School in out-of-home.
