Bunge India Private Limited, a global agribusiness and food brand, has appointed Milind Acharya as its new Marketing Head. Acharya will bring 12 years of marketing expertise into reinventing and sustaining various brands under the Bunge umbrella such as Dalda, Gagan and Chambal.

Acharya has previously worked with brands across varied sectors such as FMCG, healthcare and media. His credentials include strategic brand management with organisations such as Piramal Healthcare, Piramal Enterprises and Cavinkare. Acharya has also played a key role in developing Adani Wilmar Limited's sustainable brand portfolio of edible and agri commodities. He was also instrumental in leading the brand's rejuvenation and in the brand's successful repositioning.

Acharya has a Business Management Masters' degree in Marketing and a degree in Advanced Business Management from Gujarat University. As Marketing Head for Bunge, he will be a part of integrated marketing, media planning, advertising, marketing research and brand management.
