Rohit Bansal exits TV18 as Director

Bansal was Non-Executive Director in the Board of Directors of the company since January 2015

Rohit Bansal, Non-Executive Director of Board at TV18 Broadcast Ltd, has now decided to discontinue his presence on the board of the Company. Bansal has been associated with the Company since January 2015.

The Board of Directors had approved the appointment of Bansal as an Additional Non-Executive Director on the Board of the Company. In the latest BSE filing on May 2, the company stated, “TV18 Broadcast Ltd has informed BSE that Rohit Bansal has expressed his inability to continue on the Board of Directors of the Company due to his other commitments. Accordingly, he ceases to be a Director of the Company w.e.f. May 01, 2016.”

Bansal has been an old hand in the broadcast and television business, armed with over two decades of experience in the field. He had worked with India TV, Financial Express, Zee News and Times of India. He has been on the board of the News Broadcasters Association.
