The network won 13 metals in Broadcaster, four in Creative and three in the Media categories

Star India Network bagged altogether 20 metals at the Abby Awards held at the advertising, media and marketing convention at Goafest 2016. The Abbys recognized the excellence of Star India network’s campaigns by awarding it 13 metals in the Broadcaster category alone. Star India won another four metals in the Creative category and three in the Media category.
The channel’s nationally acclaimed campaign for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 – ‘Mauka Mauka’, – won a Gold in the Broadcaster category at the Abby Awards. The network bagged six Silvers, three in the Media, two in the Broadcaster and one in the Creative categories. The ‘Mauka Mauka’ campaign won three Silvers for ‘Best Use of Digital as a Medium’, ‘Best Use of Social Media’ and for ‘Integrated Advertising’.
‘Siya Ke Raam – Dhanush Yatra’ of Star Plus got a Silver for ‘Best Use of Special Events’ and Stunts / Live Advertising (Media), while Star Movies Select HD’s ‘Select Sundays Nostalgia’ and the ‘Book Adaptations’ campaigns won a Silver each in the ‘Best Movie Promo by a TV Channel (Broadcaster)’ category.
The television network won another 13 metals (Bronze) across the Broadcaster (10) and Creative (three) categories, completing its impressive medal tally for the network, which won the highest number of metals among all broadcasters in the fray.
