KomliKomli Media, a leading digital media technology brand in the Asia Pacific region, has renewed its partnership agreement with Twitter in India till March 2017. The company, which is now a part of India's SVG Media Group, announced the tie up on March 1. Komli had signed this partnership with Twitter for the first time in 2012.

Under the renewed agreement, Komli will continue to help Twitter expand its Promoted Products suite of advertising products and emphasize on the company's monetization efforts. Komli would be reaching out to the huge Indian mid-market segment and help the brands target potential customers on Twitter, giving them high life-time value per customer and eventual return on investment.

Twitter is betting big on the revenue potential of a rapidly developing economy like India. In a study undertaken by Ernst & Young dated Feb 15, 2016 on 'Social Media Marketing in India', 90 per cent of the companies surveyed had spent up to 15 per cent of their annual marketing budgets exclusively on social media.
