Breaking through the clutter of advertisements for financial products, FundsIndia, the online investment platform, has launched a brand new advertising campaign on television. This campaign aims to inculcate a healthy investment habit among India's working professionals. Comprising of two 30 second advertisements (available in shorter variants too), the advertisements empathise with the everyday struggles of average white collar workers, and urges them to make the most of their hard earned income.

Commenting on the brand campaign, Srikanth Meenakshi, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, FundsIndia, said, “The launch of our first ever advertising campaign on television is a new chapter in our growth story. As an online investment platform, we pride ourselves in making investing in mutual funds easy. We understand that making money today is hard, and we've worked hard as an organisation to ensure that growing this hard-earned money needn't be. We think the advertisements do well to highlight this fact.”

Moving away from the traditional treatment of advertisements in the Indian financial services space, the campaign seeks to hit the practical chord of the audience by addressing the 'here-and-now' problem of investing - earning money is hard, but investing it to grow money needn't be, the vital catalyst here being a FundsIndia account.

This campaign, conceptualised by renowned creative agency, Happy Creative Services, aims to appeal to customers by striking a balance between logic and emotions by addressing the need and convenience of investing one's hard-earned money in mutual funds through a FundsIndia account.

On the concept of the campaign, Siddhartha Roy, Chief Operating Officer, Happy Creative Services, said, “One of the most common grouses of working professionals is the perennial paucity of time and money. To top it all, there's the scepter of tax constantly hanging over them. Through this campaign, we have tried to capture this consumer tension, while offering the brand as an apt solution.”
