Siju Prabhakaran to take over as Business Head of Zee Tamil

Siju has been with Zee for over 15 years and in his new role will report to Punit Goenka, MD and CEO, ZEEL

Siju Prabhakaran , Business Head of Zee Kannada, will now take over as the Business Head of Zee Tamil. He replaces N S Easwaran who has decided to pursue his career outside ZEE. Prabhakaran has shown incredible leadership in managing the Zee Kannada Business. He has been with ZEE for over 15 years now and has experience in sales as well. Prabhakaran will report to Punit Goenka, MD and CEO, ZEEL, for the above role.

Elaborating on his new role, Prabhakaran, said, “Tamil Nadu is a market with huge potential. This is one market where television viewing is a habit that is quite difficult to break. I'm looking forward to bringing the necessary changes to this habit that will benefit Zee Tamil and help us grow by leaps and bounds.”

He is known for his ability to form and lead strong teams. He has played an important role in increasing the viewership of Zee Kannada.
