NDTV Group unveiled the first look of its e-commerce portal, Gadgets 360, at the 5th Gadget Guru Awards.

NDTV took the cover off not just the 5th Gadget Guru Awards, but it also unveiled the look of its new e-commerce portal Gadgets 360. Gadgets 360 will curate a marketplace for exclusive launches of mobile phones and other electronic gadgets.

In August this year, Gadgets 360 had received funding from One97 Communications, owner of consumer brand Paytm. Till August 2015, Gadgets 360 had raised funding at a valuation of close to $50 million.

Unveiling the first look of Gadget 360 and celebrating five years of Gadget Guru Awards, Vikram Chandra, CEO, NDTV Group, said, “It's great to be back with the Gadget Guru Awards. We were truly inspired by the overwhelming response, making this the biggest gadget and technology awards function in India. And what better platform than this to welcome our e-commerce venture, Gadget 360. We are truly excited about this new consumer journey and can't wait to take it the next level.”

The NDTV Gadget Guru Awards honour the best products in the field of Consumer Electronics, Gadgets and Technology and provide a unique opportunity for experts from the industry to ideate, discuss and analyse the latest trends.

Samsung SUHD -TV - UA65JS9000k won the Gadget Guru of the Year award, while the jury picked Fitbit Surge and DJI Phantom 3 Professional as Gadgets of the Year. Paytm was adjudged App of the Year.

Wearable Device of the Year – Fitbit Surge

Tech Car of the Year – Volvo XC90

Tech Brand Ambassador of the Year – Saina Nehwal for Fitbit

Eye Candy Gadget of the Year – Apple Macbook 12"
