Troy Lobo, Executive Director - South Asia, Networks and Content Distribution, Turner International India, has put in his papers after 10 years with the organisation. He is now set to join Saregama India as Vice-President, Sales & Marketing.

Industry sources have confirmed the news to BestMediaInfo.com. An official announcement is expected in a day or two.

Lobo is the latest senior hire at Saregama India, the entertainment arm of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group. It may be recalled that the company had ramped up its television content management team earlier this month by hiring two senior creative people – Rajesh Beri and Siddharth Anand.

In his 10-year stint with Turner International India, Lobo had taken up various roles, starting his journey in 2005 as Associate Director, Wireless. In 2008, he was elevated to Head of Wireless, Interactive Development & Distribution - South Asia, and in a month's time, he was appointed Director. In the following years, Lobo rose to first Director and then Executive Director, South Asia, Networks and Content Distribution, in March 2015.

Prior to joining Turner, he had worked with Hutchison Essar India for nine years as Sales Manager Corporate. Before that he'd joined Airfreight Ltd (DHL Worldwide Express).
