Havas-WorldwideDS Group, a rapidly growing multi-diversified conglomerate, recently appointed Havas Worldwide as its integrated communications partner for its pan masala brand, Tansen. The business will be handled out of the agency's Gurgaon office.

Tansen 'Supreme', a unique saffron-blended Pan Masala, is a popular brand amongst aficionados. The brand has recently launched a sub-brand, Tansen Blues, that caters to the semi-premium segment of the pan masala market. At present, the brand is available in Madhya Pradesh and will soon be made available in other states.

Confirming the appointment, Rajeev Jain, Associate VP (Marketing) in charge of Tobacco, Mouth Freshener and Confectionery division of DS Group, said, "We liked the quality of their creative thinking. It is evident from the nature of their ideas that Havas Worldwide is a new-age agency. Tansen is a crucial brand for us and we are happy to have found just the right partner for it."
