TheOneAlliance has decided to suspend the signals of its premium channels to direct-to-home (DTH) service provider Reliance Big TV for non-payment of outstanding dues.

In a release issued, TheOneAlliance said that Reliance had failed to make payments of the outstanding amount despite constant follow ups and repeated reminders. As a result, a public notice for disconnection of signals was issued on March 18, 2015.

The switch-off could impact a subscriber base of around 1.6 million, which could face the blackout anytime post three weeks of the issuance of the public notice.

Sports enthusiasts on the Reliance DTH platform could miss out on viewing the upcoming 8th season of Pepsi IPL 2015, which commences in April 2015. This tournament will be broadcast on Sony Six and Max channels distributed by TheOneAlliance.

In addition to Pepsi IPL 2015, the viewers/ subscribers of Reliance DTH platform may also miss viewing other programmes/ movies telecast on Set, Max 2, Sab, Sony Pal, Mix, Pix, AXN, Animax and Aath.
