Sonu Niigam back as host on 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs' season finale

The singer will host part of the finale episode along with previous season host Shaan and current season host Aditya Narayan

Singing reality talent hunt show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs' Season 5 is reaching its final phase, with the finale episode slated to air on March 21, 2015 at 8 pm on Zee TV.

The finale of the fifth season of 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs' will see singers Sonu Niigam, Shaan and Aditya, each having been a host of previous seasons of the show, come together on the platform as hosts. While Aditya and Shaan will also perform together some of the current chartbusters, Sonu Niigam will present a medley of his popular numbers along with the Li'l Champs.

Chosen from across the country, 12 young gifted singers began their musical journey 13 weeks ago on Season 5 of the show. Top five contestants have made it to the final phase.

Apart from the guidance of the Captains Shaan and Monali Thakur and Mahaguru Alka Yagnik, the contestants were trained by some of the most renowned  music composers and singers like Asha Bhosle, Anu Malik, Pritam, Sajid-Wajid and Salim-Suleiman, among others.

The Top 5 Li'l Champs who have made it to the finals are: 11-year old Arunita Kanjilal from Kolkata, 11-year old Keshav Tyohar from Patna, 13-year old Ridham Kalyan from Punjab, 13-year old Gagan Gaonkar from Udupi in Karnataka, and nine-year old Aishwarya Saha from Kolkata.

Zee TV's 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' has built its legacy over the years. The show has attracted some of the biggest names of the music fraternity as judges and has been instrumental in spotting and nurturing budding talent.
