India-Today-ConclaveIndia Today Conclave returns with its 14th edition. The India Today Group's signature event will be held in the Capital on March 13 and March 14.

The theme of this year's conclave is 'The World Remade'. As the challenge of Islamic State grows, America disengages from Afghanistan, Russia flexes its muscles in a world with a shifting power axis, Germany continues its rise in Europe, and the world copes with issues of gender, public health and joblessness, the world is clearly staring uncertainty in its face. Back home, the NDA Government heads towards a year in office after an epochal mandate. The Conclave will see Indian and global thought leaders share their ideas, arguments and experiences that allow us to renew, reinvent and re-imagine.

This year, the untold story behind Indian cricket's most glorious journey will be revealed by Sachin Tendulkar himself. In what is going to be his first intimate public interaction after retirement, the legendary cricketer will deliver the keynote address at the Conclave and will take questions on his life on and off the field. Titled 'Hero of Our Times: Life Lessons from The Legend', the session will kickstart the festival of ideas and arguments.

Conclave Director Kalli Purie commented, “India Today Conclave has always been a collection of the most interesting people of our time. In the 14th edition, we add to it curated sensory experiences designed to make you challenge accepted convention. Performances created by talented superstars, pioneers and innovators from around the world especially for India's original Conclave to leave you spell bound.”

The two-day Conclave will bring together on one stage well-known names such as Viswanathan Anand, Deepak Chopra, Manjul Bhargava, Chetan Bhagat, Katrina Kaif, diplomats Husain Haqqani and Shiv Shankar Menon, Afghanistan's Abdullah Abdullah, Shobhaa De, Moni Mohsin, the AIB Team, ISIS experts Bernard Haykel, Nicolas Henin and Theo Padnos, social media savants Ankit Lal and Arvind Gupta, Vasundhara Raje, Devendra Fadnavis, K Chandrasekhar Rao, ML Khattar, Akhilesh Yadav, Raman Singh, Manohar Parikkar, Suresh Prabhu, Nitin Gadkari, YC Deveshwar, and Baba Kalyani.

Other celebrity speakers include Derek O'Brien, Bhagwant Mann and Jyotiraditya Scindia, economist Arvind Subramanian and former Chief of the Army Staff General Bikram Singh and many more.

Started as part of India Today's 25th anniversary, India Today Conclave was designed as a meeting point for the best minds from India and around the world to map the geopolitical and economic future of the country. In its inaugural year, the theme was 'India Tomorrow 2002: Opportunities and Threats' with Vice President of the USA, Al Gore, as the chief Guest.
