Bajaj Electricals has launched a campaign 'The Science of Light', which covers 360-degree touch-points and consumer interactions. It highlights the benefits of Bajaj LED – its long life (25,000 hours), energy efficiency, multi-coloured light sources, environment-friendly lighting and an inbuilt voltage surge protector.

Anant Bajaj, Joint Managing Director, Bajaj Electricals, said, “With 75 years of experience in lighting, we have ensured that our range of LEDs is the best on offer. Special attention has been given to create a complete experience from product to service and communication, at all levels, which will help produce many opportunities for the potential consumer to interact with this new technology that is green, energy efficient and aesthetically dynamic.”

Commenting on the mass media campaign, he said, “We have just done a soft launch of our TV campaign in Delhi, which has been conceptualised by an agency called Onads Communications, a start-up agency. Last year our company completed 75 years and this agency made our '75 year campaign'. They did such a good job that we gave them the opportunity to make this LED campaign. I would like to say that though this agency is not among top 10 agencies, they are much beyond that. Initially, we are doing only BTL advertising because we want to give our message in a very personal manner to the consumers. Also, from next week, we are launching our digital campaign.”

Sundarajan R, President - Lighting Business Group, Bajaj Electricals, said, “We have launched this campaign to create awareness about LED products, which is why we have given it the title 'The Science of Light'. There are other brands as well which have brought their LED products in the market, but they never tried to educate people about the technology, the benefits of those products. By this campaign we want to explain LED technology. We have just launched the TV campaign and will start our full-fledged mass media campaign very soon.”

The company has also taken up a few CSR projects such as blood donation camps, organised at Asaf Ali Road, Delhi, tree plantation activity done at East Loni Road, Sonadara, Delhi, 'Swacchh Bharat Abhiyan' at Khajur Park, Sahibabad, U.P, donation to Ramraaj Sewa Sanstaan, an orphan house at Sahibabad, pledge for a tobacco-free work place on 'No Tobacco Day', celebration of 'World Environment Day' at New Delhi Metro Station and Rajendra Place Metro Station, Delhi.
