Commenting on the revival of the awards, Kanchan Dutta, founder, Inner Circle Advertising and President, Advertising Club Calcutta, said, “Sadly, over the years, the creative awards couldn't be held for the past six years due to lack of funds. However, the new committee intends to bring about a change and has managed to revive the much needed awards for recognising talent in and around the region. Moreover, we have received immense support from local media and we have managed to rope in some of them as key sponsors for the event.”

“The focus for the awards this year is ideas, and not just execution excellence. We would also like to have more involvement from medium and small local agencies along with individuals. Due to the long break in organising the awards, we have changed the awards format a bit. The awards are open for any creative work done from 1 April 2012 to 31 December 2014. Moreover, there are no Golds, Silvers or Bronzes this year. We will award five metals with equal points in each category.”

Organisers have announced twelve categories for this year's awards. All metals will have 5 points attached to them that will add up to the final tally for the 'Best Agency' award. There will be no points for nominations.

The awards function will be held on 14 March, 2015 at Rang Manch, Swabhumi in Kolkata.
