Adding to the excitement around Great Online Shopping Festival (www.gosf.in), Google unveiled exclusive new products which will be launched as part of the three-day festival, starting today. Introduced with an objective to promote online shopping in India, GOSF has been embraced by leading brands and e-commerce players as a platform to engage buyers across all categories.

At a media preview held in Delhi, Google announced the launch of Google Chromecast in India. Chromecast will cost Rs 2,999 and will be available on snapdeal.com and select Airtel stores across India from today. To celebrate the launch, Airtel is offering Chromecast customers a range of subscription offers. Existing broadband users can access 60GB of data for three months when they purchase a Chromecast, while new customers can get the same, and zero activation fee for their new broadband service.

A streaming media device that plugs into any HDTV in your house, Chromecast makes it easy to watch music videos like Tu Meri from Bang Bang or the latest episodes of Big Boss on the big screen. With more than 35 percent of people accessing YouTube from mobile devices and large proportion switching between two to three devices everyday, Chromecast will help these mobile content lovers bridge the gap between their devices and their TV.

The much-awaited Nexus 6 from Google and Motorola was also unveiled at the event and will be available to buyers on Google Play Store from today. The device will be available at Rs 43,999 for the 32GB version and at Rs 48,999 for the 64GB version. The Nexus 6 will be available in two colours – Midnight Blue and Cloud White.

Lenovo announced the launch of the new Yoga Tablet 2 Pro (Android). Designed for an elevated media experience, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro's star feature is a built-in Pico projector. Joining the festival for the first time, Asian Paints unveiled an exclusive wall decal to celebrate the 1,000-week celebration of the iconic film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge'.
