Ezone has launched its latest campaign to accomplish two objectives: to drive festive sales and to build brand connect with the theme 'Together. Forever'. Earlier in 2014, DDB Mudra West embarked on a journey to redefine the core of brand Ezone. After some deliberations, the new positioning of 'Together. Forever' came into being. It was not only elemental but also descriptive to the brand since it epitomises Ezone's commitment to building a relationship with consumers for life.
During their multiple interactions with consumers, the agency found that contrary to popular perception, technology doesn't alienate. Rather, it has the potential to actually facilitate human interaction. DDB Mudra West multiplied this insight into an idea that further rejuvenated Ezone's positioning, thus giving the brand a sharp life dimension.
The 50-second TVC focuses on the fact that loved ones come together and share moments of joy and happiness with each other in the festive season. And technology becomes instrumental in bringing people closer. The film shows people coming bonding over technology by taking a selfie and watching something together. It also shows how loved ones have been enabled by technology, like cooking a meal, sharing a special moment or dancing spontaneously when your favourite song comes on. The film simultaneously showcases moments of joy and electronic gadgets. The TVC ends by showing a couple in the Ezone store, further exemplifying how the brand enables these moments of togetherness.
Mandheer Singh, CMO, Ezone @ Future Retail, said, "Our TVC is built around the central idea that electronics and technology today do many things in our lives, the biggest being bringing people closer. We believe it is the people, our customers, who are our biggest strength. In today's ever-changing market with fleeting buyer-seller relationships, we wish to reassure our customers that we are with them forever – not just in their purchase but their purchase lifecycle."
Sanjay Pandey, Senior VP, DDB Mudra West & Head of Gutenberg Networks, India, said, "One cannot imagine life without gadgets. Smartphones, tabs, laptops are an inseparable part of our lives. In a time-starved world, innovation in technology is helping people connect better and get closer. The campaign is a true reflection of that reality."
