It is all falling into place. It is reliably learnt from very highly placed industry sources that Jishnu Sen, CEO, Grey India, has put in his papers. And Sunil Lulla, who has just left Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd (BCCL), is set to take over Grey India's leadership role. An official announcement is likely any time soon.

Sunil Lulla, the former MD and CEO of Times Television Network (TTN), finished his stint with BCCL yesterday. After his TTN stint, Lulla was designated as President – Corporate Development, BCCL, in January this year.

Sen joined Grey India sometime in 2007 as the head of its Mumbai office. Under his stewardship, Grey Mumbai grew significantly to become the flagship office in India. In 2009, he was appointed COO of the entire Grey India operation. And in May 2011, Sen was promoted as President & CEO, Grey Group India.

Prior to joining Grey Group India, Sen held various positions with JWT and Y&R across India, Singapore, Hong Kong and the United States. His diverse portfolio includes brands such as Colgate, Pepsi, Pizza Hut, ITC, GlaxoSmithKline, ESPN, Star Sports and the Indian Army. Sen, who has more than two decades of experience in the advertising industry, was the Regional Client Servicing Director on the Colgate Palmolive business with Y&R New York.

Lulla has worked in media, entertainment, technology and television for the last 26 years. His early years were spend in Sales and soon thereafter with J Walter Thompson in senior positions in India, China and Taiwan. He was member of the team which helped turn around Sa Re Ga Ma (HMV) in India.

Lulla has spent about nine years in various leadership roles at Times Television Network. Prior to joining TTN, he headed Sony Entertainment Television for three years as Executive VP.
