The Indian creative community has spoken. Kyoorius Advertising & Digital Awards has received an overwhelming 988 entries from Indian agencies and studios.

Participation has come from over 20 locations in India including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Baroda, Bhopal, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi & NCR, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune.

Contributing agencies O&M, OgilvyOne, Grey Worldwide, Creativeland Asia, Alok Nanda & Company, Bates, BBDO, BBH, Contract Advertising, DDB Mudra, GroupM, L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, DigitasLBi, FCB Ulka, Happy Creative Services, Hungama Digital Services, Indigo Consulting, Isobar, Linen Lintas, Publicis, RK Swamy BBDO, SapientNitro, Scarecrow, TBWA and Webchutney are amongst nearly 200 entrants nationwide.

Several clients such as Zee, HBO, Hindustan Times, ixigo.com, Merck Serono India, HP, Mynta.com, Piramal, Times Television Network, Times City and Viacom18 have contributed entries to what is shaping up to be India's biggest celebration of creativity.

Kyoorius and D&AD have pushed the envelope on neutrality and clarity by selecting a jury comprising creative professionals. Sajan Raj Kurup, Founder & Creative Chairman, CreativeLand Asia, and Carlos Anuncibay, Executive Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi Sri Lanka, are the latest jurors to be added to the 2014 Kyoorius Advertising Awards roster.

They join jury foreman Neil Dawson of Dawson Pickering alongside fellow jurors Abhijit Avasthi of O&M, Graham Kelly of Isobar, Senthil Kumar of JWT, Sonal Dabral of DDB Mudra and Woon Siew Hoh of Hakuhodo.

Unlike other advertising awards, all jury members gather on ground in Mumbai to review, discuss and elect the best of the best over an intensive three-day session.

To challenge traditions, conventions and cliches of advertising awards, Kyoorius has opened the doors to the viewing public, fellow professionals and media to view how a jury session is conducted.

You can head to the Nehru Centre from May 13 - 15 (time slots are available and published on awards.kyoorius.com — registration is required but free of cost) to see the jury in action. Visitors can come in and watch the jury debate the entries, checkout some of the best in Indian creativity and much more.

The Blue Elephant is quickly being recognised as a symbol of the very highest creative achievement. Kyoorius Awards have no winning tier structure – no gold, silver or bronze, and it is the jury's prerogative to award one or multiple Blue Elephants in any one category, whereas none in another, if entries are not up to the mark. Alongside the winners, all nominations will be featured in the Kyoorius Advertising Awards Annual distributed to over 5,000 corporates and creatives across India.
