Hot on the heels of agreements with FIFA World Cup 2014 and Real Madrid CF, licensing and brand management agency Dream Theatre is in the news again, this time to announce their partnership with Adidas to develop the licensing business of Italian footballing giants, AC Milan in India. Acquiring its third partnership in sports licensing, Dream Theatre firmly cements their position as pioneers of the sports licensing business in India.

AC Milan is the second most successful football club in European football with seven Champions League titles. In addition to this, they are also the second most successful club in Italian football having won 18 league titles. Their success on the pitch with football superstars like Mario Balotelli and Brazilians Kaka and Robinho have made the club one of the most recognisable brands in modern football. The popularity of European football leagues, which is broadcast on satellite channels, has mushroomed among India's affluent middle class, which has resulted in AC Milan's large fan base.

The association with Adidas to develop AC Milan's licensing agreement will promote a range of merchandise's across categories such as sporting goods, apparel, gifts and novelties, toys and games, electronics, back to school, stationery, home ware, home furnishing, personal care and more.  Dream Theatre has started the process of looking for optimum licensing partnerships across these categories.

The licensed merchandise's will be available at leading retail chain stores, department stores and standalone outlets, along with popular e-commerce portals. The products will be easily accessible across India with prices ranging from Rs 250 to Rs 3,000.
