india-today-conclaveIndia Today Group has announced the 13th edition of its annual global idea platform, India Today Conclave, to be held on March 7 and 8 in New Delhi. The theme of this year's Conclave, which will host some of the finest minds of the world, is 'Winning'.

The Conclave will bring together a host of winners from all walks of life, including futurists, inspirational thought leaders, economists, authors, matinee icons, artists and politicians to chart a bold new future through free and frank exchange of ideas.

Among the speakers this year is Robot Master Prof Henrik Schärfe, who has created an alter ego – a robot, Geminoid-DK, modelled in his likeness! He will be joined by Laughter Therapist Maysoon Zayid, who will have you laughing till you cry and crying till you laugh.

The Conclave will be a one-stop idea shop with thinkers and authors, including Adrian Levy, Jack Sim, Ahmed Rashid, Arvind Panagariya. Aatish Taseer and Kamila Shamsie will exchange letters written from across the Indo-Pak border, especially for the Conclave.

The foreign affairs dialogue will see the presence of the political strategist of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), the power sibling of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif.

India's political future will be deliberated by speakers from across parties, including Anand Sharma, Shashi Tharoor, Arvind Kejriwal, Digvijaya Singh, Amit Shah, Jairam Ramesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Arun Shourie, Vasundhara Raje, Kapil Sibal, Omar Abdullah and Akhilesh Yadav.

The other attractions will include discussions around entertainment and evolution of Indian cinema with participation from Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, new-age sensation Ranveer Singh and Kalki Koechlin.

The past 12 Conclaves have been widely acclaimed for the quality of thought and discussion. The speakers who have addressed distinguished audiences each year are current and former heads of state, Nobel Laureates, spiritual and corporate heads, economists, authors, academicians, scientist, strategists, activists, directors, actors and sportspersons.  You can see all our past programmes at www.indiatodayconclave.com.
