The magic of kids dancing is back on Zee TV with 'DID L'il Masters Season 3' and like the previous two seasons, the show has yet again started with a bang. The opening episode of DID L'il Masters was the most watched show across all kind of programming on Hindi GECs in Week 9 of TAM 2014. The show opened at 11.1 TVM and, along with Zee Cine Awards that garnered 7 TVM, helped Zee TV become No. 2 Hindi GEC.

Even as it acquired the top weekend slot, Zee TV also increased its dominance in weekday programming with three of its shows in the top 10 list. According to TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 9 of TAM 2014 (February 23 – March 1) CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus continued to rule the weekday programming with five shows in the top 10. Colors and SAB TV had one show each.

Weekday toppers (all data in TVM, 000000's)

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus lost some eyeballs but remained at the top with 10.9 TVM this week (last week 12.6 TVM).

Jodha Akbar on Zee TV continued to hold the No. 2 slot despite a slight decline in its viewership. The show fetched an average viewership of 10.2 TVM (last week 10.8 TVM).

Star Plus' Saathiya held the No. 3 position with 9.8 TVM (last week 9.8).

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus held its No. 4 position with an average viewership of 7.9 TVM (last week 8.5 TVM).

SAB's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma witnessed a small drop in viewership but held the No. 5 position with an average viewership of 6.9 TVM against last week's 7.3 TVM.

 

Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se on Zee TV entered the top 10 club at No. 6 this week. The show garnered an average viewership of 6.3 TVM (last week 5.8 TVM).

 

Pyaar Ka Dard Hai on Star Plus slipped one position to No. 7 with an average viewership of 6.1 TVM (last week 6.9 TVM).

Balika Vadhu on Colors held the No. 8 position with an average viewership of 6 TVM (last week 6.4 TVM).

Zee TV's third show in the top 10 was Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke which made an entry to the top 10 club with an average viewership of 6 TVM (last week 5.3 TVM).

Star Plus' epic series, Mahabharat, slipped three positions to No. 10 this week. It garnered 5.9 TVM this week (last week 6.9 TVM).

 

Weekend toppers

Dance India Dance L'il Masters Season 3 on Zee TV opened at 11.1 TVM and was the most watched show of the week across Hindi GECs in Week 9 of TAM 2014.

Comedy Night with Kapil on Colors dropped to 8.4 TVM in Week 9 (last week 9.6).

Colors' India's Got Talent also witnessed decline in its viewership and recorded 5.6 TVM (last week 6.7).

Mad in India on Star Plus debuted at 5.7 TVM.

Sony's crime series, CID, fetched 4.5 TVM against last week's 4.6 TVM.

Sony's second crime show, Crime Patrol, garnered 4.1 TVM (last week 3.7).

 

Life OK's Shapath recorded 4 TVM (last week 3.5).

 

Hatim on Life OK fetched 2.8 TVM (last week 3.2).

 

Boogie Woogie on Sony improved its ratings to 2.3 TVM (last week 1.9).
