PVR bluO appoints Vishal Sawhney as COO

India's biggest bowling chain and more, PVR bluO has appointed Vishal Sawhney as COO. He will be reporting to Ajay Bijli, Chairman and Managing Director, PVR Limited.

Bringing a global experience of close to two decades, Sawhney comes with the right business acumen, perspective and intelligence to lead the group to achieve greater milestones. His vast work experience spreads across a gamut of brands such as Devyani Group, Round the Clock Stores, etc. Prior to joining PVR bluO, Sawhney was with the Landmark Group as President where he steered the verticals of entertainment centres, food & beverage and fitness. Within this portfolio, he managed brands like Funcity, Krispy Kreme, Gloria Jeans Coffee and Yellow Chilli.

Bijli said, “With a wealth of experience spread across diverse markets like India, the Middle East and the United States, Vishal was the apt fit to join us in this phase of growth. We are aggressively poised to expand and needed someone with that conviction and passion who could drive this momentum.”

Known to blend his technical prowess with an enduring dedication, Sawhney will now be spearheading operations, business development & projects, and sales & marketing at bluO. An avid biker and adventurer, Sawhney is part of the well-known Harley Owners Group (HOG) and undertakes bike rides with the group all over India.
