SAB Ke Anokhe Awards rates 4,648 TVTs. Star Plus has 4 shows followed by Zee TV with 3, Colors with 2 and SAB with 1 show in the top 10 weekday shows in Week 35 of TAM 2013

Week 35 of TAM 2013 was dominated by weekday programming as the top 3 Hindi general entertainment channels witnessed surge in their viewership on the back of their weekday shows. However, the surge in ratings of SAB TV was mainly backed by SAB Ke Anokhe Awards aired on Saturday, August 31, that accrued 4,648 TVTs.

According to TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 35 (August 25 - August 31) for the CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus retained its leadership with 4 shows among top 10 weekday shows. Zee TV had three shows, Colors two and SAB one show in the top 10 shows.

Colors continued to lead weekend programming with Comedy Night with Kapil and Jhalak Dikhhla Ja at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. Sony's crime shows Crime Patrol and CID were at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.

Weekday toppers (all data in TVT in 000's)

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus topped the chart with 10,175 TVT in Week 35 (last week 9,483).

SAB's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma climbed one position to No. 2 with an average TVT of 7,094 against last week's 7,048.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus slipped one position to No. 3 with 7,024 TVT. The show had an average TVT of 7,124 last week.

Jodha Akbar on Zee TV was the maximum gainer among weekday shows in Week 35. The show climbed three positions to No. 4 with 6,824 TVTs (last week 5,896).

Pyaar Ka Dard Hai on Star Plus held its No. 5 position recording an average TVT of 6,515 (last week 6,482).

Zee TV's Qubool Hai slipped two positions to No. 6 with an average TVT of 6,492 (last week 6,618).

Colors' Balika Vadhu was at No. 7. Its average TVT was recorded at 6,127 against last week's 6,294.

Star Plus' Saathiya held No. 8 position. The show garnered an average TVT of 6,127 (last week 5,374).

Madhubala on Colors crept into the top 10 club. At No. 9, the show recorded an average TVT of 5,329 (last week 4,646).

Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta slipped one position to No. 10 this week. The show averaged at 5,078 TVT (last week 4,990).

 

Weekend toppers

Colors' Comedy Night with Kapil remained the most watched show during the weekend. It averaged 7,072 TVT (last week 6,988).

Colors' Jhalak Dikhhla Ja held the No. 2 position with an average TVT of 5,855 in (last week 6,205).

Sony's crime show, Crime Patrol, was the biggest gainer this week across shows on Hindi GECs. The show garnered 4,783 TVT this week (last week 3,500).

Sony's other crime show, CID, fetched an average TVT of 4,758 (last week 5,061).

SAB Ke Anokhe Awards fetched 4,648 TVTs on Saturday, August 31, 2013.

DID Super Moms on Zee TV averaged at 4,572 TVT (last week 5,650).

Sony's Indian Idol Junior recorded an average TVT of 4,550 (last week 4,340).

Fear Files on Zee TV recorded an average TVT of 3,343 (last week 3,316).

Comedy Circus ke Ajoobe on Sony fetched 3,070 TVT (last week 3,071).

Star Plus' Junior Master Chef averaged at 2,671 TVT (last week 2,804).

Sony's crime show, Adalat, recorded 2,511 TVT (last week 2,724).

Life OK's weekend offering, Shapath, fetched an average TVT of 2,455 against last week's 3,330.

Star Plus' crime fiction, Arjun, recorded 2,265 TVT (last week 1,905).
