GEC Watch: Star Plus retains 5 slots, Zee TV grabs 3 positions in top 10 weekday shows

Colors and SAB TV have one show each among top 10 weekday shows in Week 32 of TAM 2013

According to TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 32 (August 4 - August 10) of TAM 2013 for the CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus retained 5 slots among the top 10 weekday shows. Zee TV grabbed 3 positions followed by Colors and SAB TV with one show each.

Among weekend shows, 'Comedy Night with Kapil' on Colors continued to top the chart. Star Plus' IIFA event rated 5,996 TVT over 3.5 hours.

Weekday toppers (all data in TVT in 000's)

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus retained its leadership with a big margin in Week 32. The show fetched an average TVT of 10,356 (last week 10,393).

Zee TV's Qubool Hai climbed two positions to No. 2 this week with an average TVT of 7,188 (last week 7,250).

SAB's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma slipped one position to No. 3 in Week 32. The show fetched an average TVT of 7,032 against last week's 8,218.

Colors' Balika Vadhu slipped one position to No. 4. Its average TVT was recorded at 6,644 against last week's 7,340.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus held No. 5 position with 6,542 TVT. The show had an average TVT of 6,799 last week.

Pyaar Ka Dard Hai on Star Plus remained at No. 6 recording an average TVT of 6,233 (last week 6,141).

Jodha Akbar on Zee TV entered the Top 10 club coming in at No. 7 with an average TVT of 5,547 (last week 3,659). The show grew on the back of the special episodes showing the Akbar-Jodha wedding for one hour daily from Monday to Friday.

Star Plus' Saathiya slipped one position to No. 8 this week. The show garnered an average TVT of 5,525 (last week 5,815).

Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta also made an entry to the Top 10 club this week at No. 9 with an average TVT of 5,151 (last week 4,656).

Veera on Star Plus was at No. 10 with an average TVT of 4,936 (last week 5,027).

Weekend toppers

Colors' Comedy Night with Kapil remained at the top. The show averaged at 6,831 TVT (last week 6,079).

Star Plus' IIFA Awards event was the second most watched show in Week 32. The show garnered 5,996 TVT over 3.5 hours.

Sony's crime show, CID, fetched an average TVT of 5,177 (last week 5,144).

DID Super Moms on Zee TV averaged 4,950 TVT (last week 4,710).

Colors' Jhalak Dikhhla Ja improved its ratings this week and garnered an average TVT of 4,901 in (last week 4,142).

Sony's Indian Idol Junior recorded an average TVT of 4,476 (last week 4,581).

Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, garnered 3,859 TVT this week (last week 4,347).

Fear Files on Zee TV recorded an average TVT of 3,514 (last week 3,066).

Life OK's weekend offering Shapath grew to 3,088 TVT against last week's 2,477.

Comedy Circus ke Ajoobe on Sony averaged 2,816 TVT (last week 3,025).

Sony's crime show, Adalat, recorded 2,117 TVT (last week 2,618).

Star Plus' crime fiction, Arjun, recorded 1,617 TVT (last week 1,608).
