publive-imageLife OK has overtaken Sony and SAB by registering an impressive growth of over 31 per cent, according to the TVT data for Week 32 of TAM 2013. Zee TV too grew by more than 15 per cent and narrowed the gap with Colors.

As per TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 32 (August 4 - August 10) for CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus retained its viewership and No. 1 position among Hindi general entertainment channels. Colors held the second position but the channel was closely followed by Zee TV at No. 3.

Life OK surprised both Sony and SAB TV to become fourth most watched channel in Week 32. Sony and SAB were at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively. Sahara One lost viewership but remained at No. 7.

Star Plus was able to retain its viewership and leadership position in Week 32 with Gross TVT of 506 million but its relative share reduced to 21.85% (last week 506 million with 22.53% relative share).

Colors recorded Gross TVT of 438 million with relative share of 18.92% (last week 456.3 million with 20.32% relative share). The channel registered a loss of over 18 million in its Gross TVT and 1.4% of relative share.

Zee TV further strengthened its position at No. 3 and narrowed the gap with Colors. The channel recorded Gross TVT of 424 million and 18.33% of relative share. The channel had 367 million TVT with relative share of 16.34% last week.

Life OK recorded the maximum growth among all the GECs in Week 32, growing by 31% over Week 31 and climbing to No. 4 by overtaking both Sony and SAB TV. It recorded Gross TVT of 316 million against last week's 240 million. Life OK's relative share grew to 13.64% in Week 32 against 10.69% in Week 31.

Despite a loss of 19 million in its Gross TVT in Week 32, Sony held its No. 5 position with 301 million TVT and 12.99% relative share (last week 320 million TVT with 14.23% of relative share).

SAB TV slipped two positions to No. 6 registering a decline of 22 million in its Gross TVT. The channel recorded 298 million Gross TVT and 12.89% relative share (last week 321 million TVT and 14.27% relative share).

Sahara One's viewership further declined at 32 million TVT with 1.38% relative share (last week 36 million TVT and 1.6% relative share).
