publive-imageThe Digital Asia Festival Awards is now open for entries and is accepting submissions into its 26 categories.

Entries into the awards will be judged by an independent jury consisting of leading client marketers, digital media practitioners and agency strategists who will base the judging criteria on Strategy, Creativity and Innovation, Execution and Results. The jury will debate and ultimately decide on those entries worthy of taking home Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies. Prestigious trophies for Agency of the Year, given to the agency that has amassed the most points across all categories, as well as The Digital Brand Award, given to the brand that has used digital media to execute innovative ideas and achieve marketing success, will also be awarded.

A special early bird rate of US$275 is available for submissions made before 4 September, after which the fee will rise to US$325. Entries can now be made online via www.digitalasiafestival.com until the entry deadline of 25 September. The winners of the 2013 awards, as decided by the jury, will be announced online on 18 November.

The festival format, which was introduced last year, is currently under review by the organisers to ensure that the Festival continues to grow and reflect the burgeoning digital world. Therefore, for 2013, The Digital Asia Festival Awards will be contained to an online awards only, with the winners announced through the website in November. The full Festival format will return for 2014.

The Digital Asia Festival Awards serves to not only reflect this but to set benchmarks by rewarding the best in digital. It's the largest awards of its kind and we're delighted that, while we take time to ensure that our Festival format is truly reflective and in-line with industry needs, we can continue to deliver these important awards to the region.”
