HUL's Nitin Paranjpe gets Unilever global role; Sanjiv Mehta to take over in Oct

Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has announced key changes in the Management Committee of the company. Nitin Paranjpe, currently Managing Director and CEO of HUL, will be joining the Unilever Leadership Executive (ULE), taking on the role of President, Home Care.

Sanjiv Mehta, currently Chairman, North Africa & Middle East (NAME), Unilever, has been appointed Managing Director and CEO of HUL to replace Paranjpe with effect from October 1, 2013. The appointment has been approved by the Board of Directors of HUL and will be subject to approval of shareholders. He will also be responsible for the South Asia cluster which includes India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
