publive-imageAccording to viewership data sourced from TAM subscribers for the CS 4+, HSM markets, Week 6 (February 3-9, 2013) witnessed stiff competition among Hindi general entertainment channels. In the week post 'Son of Sardar' double premiere, Star Plus has maintained its No. 1 position in the new HSM universe while Zee TV has added maximum GRPs on the back of 'Dil Dhamaal Dhoka' fiction event that rated 3.2 over 3 hours and double airing of 'English Vinglish'.

Despite significant drop in the ratings of fiction shows, Colors has maintained its No. 3 position on the back of break-less airing of 'Oh My God'. Sony, SAB and Life OK remain at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.

With improved ratings of it fiction shows 'Pyaar Ka Dard' and 'Veera', Star Plus continued to be on top with 264 GRPs in Week 6 (last week 281), even though it lost a sizeable 17 points.

Zee TV strengthened its position at No. 2 by adding 29 points in Week 6. The channel garnered 243 GRPs this week (last week 214).

Colors remained at No. 3 position with 206 GRPs (last week 210).

At No. 4, Sony Entertainment Television remained stable at 160 GRPs (last week 159).

SAB TV has recorded 132 GRPs (last week 134).

Life OK continues at No. 6 with 124 GRPs this week (last week 121).

Star Utsav garnered 51 GRPs in Week 6 (last week 52).
