Coca-Cola India partners with TELiBrahma to engage consumers through the Telecom space

publive-imageAfter the resounding success of the first season of Coke Studio@MTV, Coca-Cola India is continuing to strengthen and build its connection with ardent music lovers. Furthering this endeavor, Coca-Cola India has partnered once again with TELiBrahma, a leading provider in mobile advertising solutions space, to leverage the large reach of mobile phones in India, and engage customers through the telecom space.

In its current season, Coke Studio@MTV continues its journey to explore India's rich music landscape focusing on showcasing diversity and innovation through 8 unique Episodes, and 12 breakthrough producers.  Building upon the great response that Coke Studio received last season, this alliance is an attempt to reach out to a wider set of audience allowing them to experience the musical extravaganza, engage with it and share it with their social circles.

Coca-Cola India through TELiBrahma will utilize its location-based network “Buzz” to connect with consumers through 1200 locations spread across Cafe Coffee Day, Crossword, Nirula's, Spencer's, Barista, Shoppers stop and leading malls and allow them to download, rate and share content such as Coke Studio music files, videos, wallpapers of their favorite performances by turning on WiFi and Bluetooth, at partner locations. The mobile application will also give consumers an opportunity to browse through the content catalogue and download content of their choice.

Speaking about the tie-up, Ravi B.R., COO& Co-founder, TELiBrahma said, “Enabling Coke Studio content on Buzz is a great demonstration of how brands can leverage mobile to build a superior brand engagement. We are excited about extending relationship with coke in this unique strategy.”

According to Wasim Basir, Director, Integrated Marketing Communications, Coca-Cola India, “In order to further amplify the reach of Coke Studio, it is our endeavor to constantly explore exciting avenues to connect and engage with music aficionados across the country. And what better way than leveraging the popularity and large scale reach of mobile phones to deliver the content. Our past association with TELiBrahma, was a huge success, where we managed to attain over 10 million downloads in a short span of two months and even Season 2 has received an enthusiastic response with over 2.5 million downloads already”.

The Buzz network will be deployed at various cities including Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Nagpur, Pune, Surat, Vijayawada, Vizag to name a few facilitating the consumers through Wi-Fi to download the content for free.
