publive-imageBased on viewership data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 30 (July 22 – 28), Star Plus has maintained its lead in weekday programming with five shows in the top 10 list followed by Colors with three shows. Zee TV has two shows in the list while Sony has one.

Sony's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain was the show stopper of the week. The one-hour special episode of BALH on Thursday, July 26, delivered the highest-ever TVR for the show. Fetching 5.6 TVR, the special episode contributed 46 GRPs for the channel while the show averaged 4.8 TVR for the week.

Among weekend programming, Zee TV's DID Little Master remained No. 1 followed by Sony's crime shows, Crime Patrol and CID. Colors' celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikkhla Ja, was able to hold eyeballs.

Weekday shows

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus remains the chart topper despite a decline in its average rating for the week. The show recorded 5.3 TVR in Week 30 of TAM 2012 (last week 5.8).

Sony's Bade Achche Lagte Hain has grown stronger at No. 2, fetching an average of 4.8 TVR (last week 4.2).

Colors' Balika Vadhu has also shown improvement in its average ratings this week. The show has climbed one position to No. 3 this week with 4.3 TVR (last week 3.8).

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus has slipped one position down to No. 4. It has recorded an average rating of 3.7 TVR (last week 3.9).

Colors' other fiction show among the top 5, Sasural Simar Ka, has retained its No. 5 position with improved ratings. It fetched a TVR of 3.4 (last week 3.1).

Saathiya on Star Plus remained at No. 6 this week with improved ratings, averaging 3.0 TVR (last week 2.9).

Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta has gone one position up at No. 7. The show has fetched an average TVR of 2.9 (last week 2.7).

Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus has climbed two positions up at No. 8 this week with an average of 2.7 TVR (last week 2.5).

At No. 9, Colors' Uttaran has garnered an average TVR of 2.7 (last week 2.8).

There is a tie at No. 10 between Star Plus' Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and Zee TV's Punarvivah. Both the shows have garnered an average rating of 2.5 TVR.

Weekend toppers

Among weekend programming, Zee TV's DID Little Master remained No. 1 followed by Sony's crime shows, Crime Patrol and CID.

Zee TV's DID Little Masters topped the weekend programming with 4.8 TVR (last week 4.1).

Sony's Crime Patrol has climbed one position at No. 2 this week. It recorded an average TVR of 4.1 TVR (last week 3.8).

Sony's other crime show, CID, has fetched 3.7 TVR this week (last week 3.9).

Colors' celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Ja, has jumped two positions this week to No. 4. It recorded an average TVR of 2.7 (last week 2.7).

Zee TV's Fear Files has averaged at 2.7 TVR this week (last week 2.6).

The simulcast ratings of the original episode of Satyamev Jayate aired on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 11 AM across nine channels (Star Plus, Star Pravah, Star Jalsha, Star World, Star Utsav, Star Vijay, Asianet, ETV Telegu and Doordarshan) has fetched an average TVR of 2.5 (last week 2.8).

Indian Idol on Sony has garnered an average TVR of 1.9 TVR this week (last week 2.2).
