ABP News launches new show 'Love Story'

Anchored by TV actress Nigaar Khan, the weekly show takes 8 pm slot on Saturdays

Bollywood with Love, Lust and Bust is the greatest entertainer on and off the Screen. “The love story of Indians with Bollywood is one of the greatest love stories. ABP News is launching a new programme titled 'Love Story' – the untold story of Bollywood Stars keeping the need and want of the market in mind,” according to Ashok Venkatramani, CEO of MCCS.

Love stories of Bollywood are almost as old as Bollywood itself.  If you travel back in time you would remember Dilip Kumar and Madhubala's off and on screen love affair that ended in a sad break-up with Madhubala eventually marrying Kishore Kumar. The original showman of Bollywood, Raj Kapoor and his reel and real life magic with Nargis is the stuff of Bollywood legend. Nargis eventually married Sunil Dutt who saved her life during a fire on the set of Mother India. Guru Dutt fell in love with Waheeda Rehman, Dharmendra with Hema Malini, Rishi Kapoor with Neetu Singh and the love stories of Bollywood Superstars is a never ending love story.

Not all Bollywood potboilers like the off screen love stories have a happy ending. The story of Amitabh- Rekha, Salman Khan- Aishwarya Rai, John Abraham-Bipasha Basu, Shahid Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan-Karisma Kapoor, Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar- Raveena Tandon are fresh in the minds of the Public.

The show is conceived by the editorial team of ABP News that went behind the scenes finding the hidden clues and trail left behind by your favourite superstars. Their exhaustive research found interesting documents as they took extensive interviews with the Stars involved and their friends to unravel the secrets behind the relationships.

The show tells a story in an investigative style that will ensure an entertaining roller coaster ride for ABP Viewers. The Programme will be appointment viewing of untold stories on gorgeous sets specially crafted for the Programme.

'Love story' is hosted by the popular and famous television actress Nigaar Khan who has super hit serials like Khan Sisters, Sapno ka Bhawar, Sach ka Samna etc to her credit.
