Aegis Media expands in Chennai; launches new units, moves into new office

As part of its geographical expansion plan, Aegis Media has launched Carat Media in Chennai and strengthen Posterscope and Carat Fresh in the Chennai market

The Vizeum operation, which began in August 2009 in Chennai, has paved the way for Aegis Media India to make larger investments in the market. Aegis Media is moving to a  bigger, state-of-the-art-office that will house Vizeum, Isobar (Digital) Iprospect (Search), Posterscope (OOH) Hyperspace (Retail), Carat  and Carat Fresh Integrated (Activation). The new office is located in Raheja Towers, Anna Salai, Chennai, and will begin functioning from July 2, 2012.

Commenting on the development, Ashish Bhasin, Chairman India & CEO South East Asia, Aegis Media, said, “We believe Chennai will be an extremely important market in the years to come and the spectacular success of Vizeum has proven that.  Vizeum has won several businesses and expanded rapidly in Chennai. Our One Aegis promise will from July 2 be available to our clients in Chennai, too.”
