The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has given more two more weeks to advertising agencies to complete their entries across all categories except Creative Effectiveness for its 2012 awards.
This is the second two-week extension given for the categories Film, Press, Outdoor, Direct, Media, Cyber, Radio, Promo & Activation, Titanium & Integrated, Design, PR, Film Craft, Mobile and Branded Content & Entertainment.. The original deadline for the entries was March 9, 2012.
This year Mobile Lions and Branded Content & Entertainment Lions are new categories at Cannes Lions 2012.
The 2012 Cannes Lions winners will be announced and honoured according to the following schedule:
Monday, 18 June: Promo & Activation, PR and Direct
Tuesday, 19 June: Creative Effectiveness, Media, Mobile and Outdoor
Wednesday, 20 June: Press, Design, Radio and Cyber
Saturday, 23 June: Film, Film Craft, Branded Content & Entertainment, Titanium and Integrated
