ACK-Media appoints Abizar Shaikh as Director of IBH

ACK-Media has appointed Abizar Shaikh as Director of IBH Books & Magazines Distributors Pvt Ltd. IBH is India's leading distribution network for books, magazines and journals and is a part of the ACK Media Group. Abizar Shaikh will be based at Mumbai.

Established in 1952, IBH manages India's leading publishing distribution networks, reaching thousands of retail outlets. With a portfolio of 140 Indian and over 100 International publications, and leading book and journal publishers, IBH is expanding to provide end-to-end fulfillment solutions to e-commerce businesses and others in the new media and digital space.

With its unmatched reach, sophisticated systems and a track record of professionalism,  the IBH mission is to expand the publishing market by partnering new publishers, adding new products categories (e.g. toys, merchandise, home video),creating new channels, and entering the direct-to-consumer market in a big way.

Abizar Shaikh has over 2 decades of leadership experience in consumer and retail businesses, across market leaders such as the Kotak Group, Max New York Life Insurance and Blow Plast Ltd. A Mechanical engineer, Abizar has done his MBA in Marketing from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research.
