Na jaane kab wo palat aayen dar khula rakhna,

Gaye hue  ke liye dil mein kuchh jagah rakhna.

Hazaar talkh ho yaade magar wo jab bhi mile,

Zubaan pe achche dino ka hi zaayka rakhna.

Have space in your heart for him who's long gone.

Even if memories are bitter but when he drops by,

Keep only taste of sweeter days that had gone by.>
